Introduction

This policy describes how Techmely ("we") handles information when you use DonDon on web and desktop.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to this policy.

Data we collect

Account information: email, display name, and password (stored encrypted).

Usage data: tasks, goals, habits, app settings, and sync metadata across your devices.

Technical data: device type, app version, error logs, and anonymized performance events to improve stability.

How we use data

Provide and sync DonDon across platforms you sign in to.

Send account, security, or important product update notifications.

Aggregate, anonymized analysis to improve features and user experience.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

Data may be processed by infrastructure providers (hosting, email, analytics) under appropriate confidentiality agreements.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the legitimate rights of users and DonDon.

Optional AI features

AI features are optional and off by default. You turn them on in Settings, where you choose and configure your own AI provider (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or an OpenAI-compatible service such as Ollama), or an AI tool installed on your own computer (desktop app only).

When you use an AI action, only the content that action needs is sent — for example the text you typed, a note you chose to process, the titles and due dates of tasks to be scheduled together with the times you are busy, or daily activity counts for a weekly review. It is sent directly from your device to the provider you configured, or handled by the tool on your computer. It does not pass through DonDon servers, and we do not receive, store or log it.

Your AI provider key is stored on your device only (in the system keychain on the desktop app, in your browser's local storage on the web) and is never sent to DonDon. You can delete it at any time in Settings.

Your chosen provider processes that content under its own terms and privacy policy; please review them. AI suggestions are shown for your review and nothing is saved until you confirm.

Storage and security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure.

You may request account deletion; data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after verification.

Your rights

Access, edit, or export personal data related to your DonDon account.

Withdraw marketing consent or disable non-essential notifications in app settings.
